About 14th WZWF Annual Meeting and International Conference
The 14th World Zakat and Waqf Forum (WZWF) Annual Meeting and International Conference
will be held from 13 to 14 October 2025 at the Hikmah Exchange Event Centre in Kuching, Sarawak, in conjunction with the 70th Anniversary of Majlis Islam Sarawak and Malaysia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN. Hosted by the Sarawak State Government, Majlis Islam Sarawak, and Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak, and supported by Yayasan Waqaf Malaysia, GoBarakah as the Social Impact Partner, and the Global Waqf Conference (GWC) as the intellectual expert facilitator, the Forum is expected to welcome participants globally. This year’s conference will serve as a vital platform to reimagine the future of zakat and waqf through practical solutions, strategic dialogue, and collaborative action.
The plenary sessions of the 14th World Zakat and Waqf Forum (WZWF) Annual Meeting and International Conference 2025 will serve as the cornerstone of the global dialogue on the future of Islamic social finance. Guided by the theme “New Global Zakat and Waqf Order”, these sessions convene high-level leaders, thought pioneers, and institutional experts to reimagine Zakat and Waqf as transformative forces in a rapidly evolving world.
